Weqaya Portal User Guide

Activate Account

In order to access your personal Weqaya risk score report, you need an active account. If it’s your first time on Weqaya, you should "Activate your account".



To do that, use the green "Activate your account" button on the Home page.

You need valid Emirates ID and the registered date of birth. The account activation is three step process.

Step 1
  • Enter your Emirates ID
  • Enter your Date of birth
  • Click on "Activate account"
If the details are correct, the account will be activated and an SMS with a security code will be sent to your mobile phone.
Step 2
  • Enter the security code
  • Click on "Submit"
Step 3
  • Fill in your personal details, mobile phone number, email, Emirates ID and your password for accessing the Weqaya portal
  • Click on "Submit"

If you cannot activate your account for any reason (not having correct details, forgotten the necessary information or an error occurs during the activation), contact the DoH administrator.

Sign in

Weqaya participants should sign in on the Weqaya portal in order to see their personal Weqaya Risk Score and get access to the other features of the personalized portal.



Sign in to the Weqaya portal is only available for the Emirates ID holders that have activated their accounts.

Step 1, Sign in:
  • Enter your Emirates ID
  • Enter your password
  • Click on "Sign in"

An SMS with a security code will be sent to your mobile phone number

Step 2, Security code:
  • Enter the security code you have received on your mobile phone
  • Click on "Submit"

If you are using your personal computer (such as your personal or work computer), you may opt-out from receiving the security code by selecting the check box. You will still be protected because we will ask for the security code if you try to sign in on other computers.

After successful sign in, you will be able to access your personalized Weqaya Risk Score.

Change Your Weqaya Portal Password

As a Weqaya participant you are able to change your password.



In order to change the password, user must be signed in.

Change your password:
  • Enter your current password
  • Enter your new password
  • Re-type your new password
  • To change the password, click on "Change Password"

The Weqaya portal will inform you about the successful change of the password.

Reset Password

If you have forgotten your password you can ask the Weqaya portal to reset the password.

On the Sign in screen, click on the "Forgotten password" button and follow the instructions on the screen.

Reset Weqaya Password:
  • Enter your Emirates ID
  • Enter your mobile phone
  • Click on the "Reset password" button

You will receive your new temporary password as an SMS on your mobile phone. Proceed with the Sign in procedure with your temporary password.



Once you are signed in, the Weqaya portal will ask you to change your password.

Login using the temporary password:
  • Enter your valid Emirates ID and your temporary password
  • Click on "Sign in" button
  • You will be required to change the password
Change Weqaya password:
  • To change the password, user need to provide the current one, the new one and to repeat the new one for the security reason
  • To submit the changes, click on "Change Password"

The process will be followed up by a successful message

Weqaya Risk Score

The Weqaya Risk Score is your personalized report for the results from your last Weqaya screening.



You may also access this page by clicking on Participant Account --> Risk Score.

Weqaya Risk Score

The following details are displayed in the first column:

  • Your personal details
  • Your last screening date
  • Your total Weqaya score
  • An information related to your personal results
  • Link to download the report as a PDF file
[Optional] "Take action!"

Take action! button will appear if your results are above the normal values

What If Analysis

The What-if Analysis allows you to see the impact of changing some of your results to the overall Total Risk score.



You can access Participant Account --> What-if scenario in order to simulate what your Weqaya Total Risk Score would be if you change some of your results.

Modifying the parameters

Initially, the page shows you the report with your latest results.

  1. Use the slide bars to adjust the parameters to the desired values



    All the individual scores will immediately change depending on the parameter change
  2. To re-calculate the Weqaya Total Risk score, click on the "Calculate" button



    To reset the changes and try a different scenario, click on the "Reset to original values" button

Manage Disease Management Programme

Disease management is defined as "a system of coordinated healthcare interventions and communications for populations with conditions in which patient self-care efforts are significant."



Weqaya participants can manage their participation to a Disease Management Programme (DMP) from the Weqaya portal.



When you select the Participant Account --> Manage DMP option, the existing status of your participation to a Disease Management Programme will be displayed on the screen. From this point on you can assign yourself to a Disease Management Programme, change your participation or opt-out from your current DMP.

If you are not participating to a Disease Management Programme you can do the following:
  • Click on the button "Select DMP"
  • A list of available DMPs will be shows
  • Select a programme from the list
  • Upon selection you can cancel this action by clicking on the "Cancel" button
  • Or confirm the process by clicking on the "Submit changes" button

Now, you are assigned as participant a Disease Management Programme (DMP)

From this point on you can change your assigned DMP, by doing the following:
  • Click on the "Change DMP" button
  • A list of available DMPs will be shown
  • Select a Disease Management Programme from the list
  • Confirm the process by clicking on the "Submit changes" button

With this action you have successfully changed your participation to the Disease Management Programme (DMP)

To opt-out (cancel) your participation to a Disease Management Programme, do the following:
  • Click on the "Opt-out DMP" button
  • A confirmation question will be shown
    • If you are not sure, cancel the request by clicking on the "Cancel" button
    • Or confirm the action by clicking on the "Yes" button
  • With this you have successfully opted-out from participating to any Disease Management Programme (DMP). In order to subscribe again, follow the assign procedure.

Manage Devices

The Weqaya Portal allows you to add your home monitoring devices to your Weqaya profile. The devices that support the Weqaya standard can submit your data and you can monitor your readings.



Weqaya portal users can manage their healthcare devices by Adding, Changeing or Deleteing the healthcare device.



When you access Participant Account --> Manage Devices, you can see the existing healthcare device associated with your Weqaya account.

To Add new device you can do the following:

Click on the "Add new device" button

  • Fill in the Device ID (as shown on your device) and a Device description of your choice
  • You can cancel this action by clicking on the "Cancel" button
  • Or confirm the addition by clicking on the "Submit" button

You've successfully added a new healthcare device



You can add as many devices as you have and you can share a device with other Weqaya participants.

You can change the information about your devices, by doing the following:
  • Click on the "Change" button for the device that you want to change
  • Change the necessary information
    • At this point you can change the Device description, and/or
    • Enable or disable the device using the selection box
  • You can cancel this action by clicking on the "Cancel" button
  • Or confirm the process by clicking on the "Submit" button

You've successfully updated the information for your healthcare device

To Delete an existing device, do the following:
  • Click on the "Delete" button from the related row in the table
  • A confirmation question will be shown
    • If you are not sure, cancel the request by clicking on the "Cancel" button
    • Or confirm the action by clicking on the "Delete" button

You've successfully deleted the healthcare device.

My Appointments

Users of the Weqaya portal can manage their Weqaya screening and follow-up appointments. You can Schedule new appointment with the participating facilities, Reschedule and existing appointment or Cancel an appointment.



When you access Participant Account --> My Appointments, you can see the list of your already scheduled appointments (if any).

To Schedule a screening appointment:

Click on the "Schedule screening" button

  • Select the desired Location, Facility and Date
  • A list of available time slots will be shown. If the selected facility has not available time slots for the selected date, please select another date.
  • Select an available time slot by clicking on the preferred "Book screening" link

You will be redirected to the "My appointments" page and a message for the successful booking will show-up. Your new appointment will be shown in the list of scheduled appointments.



You will receive an SMS with the confirmation for your appointment. You will also be informed by SMS and email when the facility confirms your appointment, or for any other changes.

To Schedule a follow-up appointment:

Click on the "Schedule follow up" button

  • Select the desired Location, Facility and Date
    • A list of available time slots will be shown. If the selected facility has not available time slots for the selected date, please select another date.
  • Select an available time slot by clicking on the preferred "Book follow up" link

You will be redirected to the "My appointments" page and a message for the successful booking will show-up. Your new appointment will be shown in the list of scheduled appointments.



You will receive an SMS with the confirmation for your appointment. You will also be informed by SMS and email when the facility confirms your appointment, or for any other changes.

Click on the corresponding "Edit" link

  • Select the desired Date
    • A list of available time slots will be shown. If the selected facility has not available time slots for the selected date, please select another date.
  • Select an available time slot by clicking on the corresponding button on the right
  • Click on the "Reschedule" button

The table of booked appointments will be shown.



You will receive an SMS with the confirmation for your changes. You will also be informed by SMS and email when the facility confirms your appointment, or for any other changes.

To Cancel any appointment:

Click on the corresponding "Edit" link

Click on the "Cancel Appointment" button

The table of booked appointments will be shown and your appointment will not be in the list any more.



You will receive an SMS with the confirmation for the cancellation.

Risk Factor Trends

Weqaya participants may monitor the trends of their risk factors results by accessing Participant Account --> Facilities trend. The data is collected with every facility visit.

If data is available, the Risk Factor Trend chart will be displayed:

The chart is dynamic and there are few built-in controls:

  • Risk factor selection
  • Predefined "Zoom" periods
  • "From" and "To" dates for a given period
  • Interactive "Zoom", "From" & "To"
  • Automatic 'on mouse over' function that display details for the data points

Device Trends

Weqaya participants may monitor the trends of their registered healthcare devices results by accessing Participant Account --> Devices trend.

Select a device from the list of "Available Health Devices":

The page will be refreshed and will display the Device Trend Chart







The chart is dynamic and there are few built-in controls:

  • Device selection
  • Predefined "Zoom" periods
  • "From" and "To" dates for a given period
  • Interactive "Zoom", "From" & "To"
  • Automatic 'on mouse over' function that display details for the data points

Profile

As a Weqaya participant you are able to update your profile details.



With accessing Participant Account --> Profile user is able to change his/her user details and the credentials.

Edit profile details:
  • When the page is open, user is able to see his/her details
  • Make sure that all the fields are correct (Name, Email, Mobile Phone). Update them in case there are any changes
  • Submit the changes by clicking on the "Update profile" button
Change password:
  • In order to change the password, use the link below
  • To change the password, enter the existing password, the new one and repeat the new password again
  • To submit the changes, click on "Change Password" button
  • The portal will display a confirmation message

Recommend to friend

Whenever you want to share an information from the Weqaya portal, use the Recommend to a Friend feature.



With accessing Tools --> Recommend To Friend, you can share a link to a page with a friend.

Fill the form:
  • Enter you name in the From field
  • Enter your friend's email address
  • The subject and the content of the email message are filled in with a title and he link the to the page and they are not editable.
  • Send the email to your friend by clicking on the "Send" button
  • An information message will be displayed.

Call Me Back

The Call Me Back feature allows visitors of the Weqaya portal to request call back from the Weqaya participating facilities.



With accessing Tools --> Call me back, you can send your name and phone number to Weqaya facility and request for call-back.

Fill the form:
  • Select a facility
  • Enter your name
  • Enter your phone number
  • Submit the form by clicking on the "Send" button
  • An information message will be displayed confirming that your phone number was sent to the selected facility.

  • Find and select the desired feedback type
